GA Trips Booking Terms & Conditions
GA Trips is registered with the country of Greece (#000106603011) as a sellers of travel.

Accommodation Tax: The accommodation tax will be calculated and paid directly to the hotel based on the number of
overnight stays and the category of the hotel as follows: 1-2 stars 1 € | 3 stars 2 € | 4 stars 5.00 € | 5 stars 10.00 €
Amounts are per room per night. (tax amounts may change without any notice)
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In the event of any change in fight itinerary made directly between passengers and their airline, it is the passenger's
responsibility to advise GA Trips of amended fight details in writing at [email protected].
GA Trips cannot be held responsible for land services, including arrival and/or departure transfers, if
fights are changed without its knowledge.
Customer Service: All customer service issues must be submitted in writing. Please notify us within 15 days
following your return. Claims for refund of undelivered services must be accompanied by payment receipt(s) and local documentation. There will be no refunds for unused package tour services or features, including missed transfers due to airline changes and/or missed fights, unused meals, missed sightseeing tours, unused entrance fees, and accommodations. Airline fight cancellations and delays for any reason are not the responsibility of GA
Trips and partners.
Submit your claim directly to the airline. GA Trips does not guarantee airline response. Complaints regarding a hotel's standards or amenities should be addressed directly with the hotel's management. Refunds are not normally considered by hotels if they were not given an opportunity to address those complaints locally. Processing of claims will take up to eight weeks from the date GA Trips receives relevant documents. Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment, up to the total amount paid, with any remaining balance paid by bank wire.
These terms may not be changed by anyone other than an authorized representative of GA Trips and must be documented in writing.
GATrips is not obliged to guarantee promises (written or verbal) made by local hotel staff, tour guides, or any other persons not under direct employment of GATrips.
GA Trips Booking Terms & Conditions:
Provided full payment is received no later than your Final Payment Due date, Travel Documents will be
sent via email 10 days prior to the onset of services. If paper documents (Tickets) are required when e-documents are
not available, documents (Tickets) will be delivered to the hotel the clients will be staying on the day before they check in.
English Language: Escorted tours are conducted in English only and all Tour Managers, local guides and hosts speak
English. All commentary and instructions will be provided in English only. For maximum enjoyment and
understanding, you must be able to understand, read and speak English.
Documents
Ferry: Once full payment is received, GA Trips will select ferry times; ferry tickets will be issued and are
fully non-refundable. Except where requested in writing prior to final payment, ferry tickets will typically be reserved for departures between 9 am and 12 noon, subject to availability. For passengers traveling independently, requests for
alternative times will be considered but are strictly subject to availability. Once issued, ferry tickets are valid for the
dates and times specified. Some exchanges must be done locally at the port due to fare restrictions. Changes may be
subject to local charges, fees, and fare increases. Once the booked ferry has departed, changes are no longer possible
nor can amendments be completed on board the ferry. GA Trips does not control seat assignments
which are entirely at the discretion of the ferry companies. Once ferry tickets are issued they are fully non-refundable
and non-changeable.
PRICES:
Prices are per person based upon shared double room occupancy. Prices do not include items of a personal
nature such as laundry, wines, water, beverages, food other than the table d’hôte menu, passport and visa fees,
insurance, and foreign port taxes unless specifically indicated in the package inclusions. Prices are correct at time of
publication. In case of human or computer error, GA Trips reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct
price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided GA Trips receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification.
Sightseeing & Itinerary:
Escorted tours are operated by motor-vehicle, its size dictated by the number of participants. Times listed in itineraries are approximate and meant only as guidelines. Some itineraries may have early morning start times for sightseeing in order to complete the touring during daylight hours or avoid afternoon heat in tropical and desert climates. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled flights, cruises, and package components. Arriving late may be considered a "no-show", in which case you will not be eligible for refund for the unused service(s). We cannot guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour. You may find that you are traveling with a sizeable group or only with your own companions. Services, however, will remain constant no matter the number of tour participants. On dates including, but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures. Occasionally, during holidays and certain periods, and/or due to unforeseen circumstances including weather conditions there may be last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival, affecting the sequence of the tour, locations visited and/or hotels. Therefore, we reserve the right to adjust the sequence and/or substitute any hotels with others of similar category. In such cases there will be no cost adjustment. National monuments and tourist sites regularly undergo renovations, which can obscure the monument's view. No tour will be canceled due to renovations; however GA Trips will decide based on the conditions whether to amend an itinerary.
Transfers:
GA Trips or the transfer company will not be responsible for flight delays, for any reason,
beyond one hour from your originally scheduled arrival time. In case of a delay, whether due to flight delay,
immigration and customs, or time spent reporting baggage damage or loss, it will be your responsibility to make other transfer arrangements such as a taxi. Transfer costs are not refundable and any additional expenses will be your
responsibility. The maximum waiting time for arrival airport transfer is 60 minutes from time of flight landing & for all sightseeing tours the maximum waiting period is 15 minutes on PRIVATE vehicle basis. Vehicle will not wait beyond this time and we should not be held responsible. We shall inform you of any change in the pickup time depending on the pickup location for some tours. The punctuality of pick-up vehicle would depend on your hotel location and the traffic condition. All Transfers and Tours which are on PRIVATE VEHICLE BASIS should not be considered as vehicle at disposal. It only means that you are not sharing the vehicle with any other guests.
BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
You must present a photo ID at the time of check in. Hotel may ask for credit card or cash deposit for the extra
services at the time of check in.
Normal check in time is 15:00 HRS and check out time is 11:00 HRS.
All extra charges to be paid directly to hotel prior to departure such as parking, phone calls, room service, city tax,
accommodation tax, etc.
We don't accept any responsibility for additional expenses due to the changes, cancellations or delays in air, road, rail, sea, ferry or indeed of any other causes, all such expenses will have to be borne by the clients.
Any special request for bed type, early check in, late checkout, smoking rooms, etc are not guaranteed and same are
subject to availability at the time of check in.
Please be present in hotel lobby for tour and transfer pick up. The pick-up will be done at the given time on TRAVEL DOCUMENT issued by GA Trips. Please follow the same.
No refunds for any un-utilized services.
Any changes/amendments would not be possible within 48 hours of the starting time of services. Prior to 48 hrs.
Changes are subject to the feasibility of local ground operations.
If there is entrance ticket involved any sightseeing tour, changes would not be possible once the services are booked.
You must call on the 24 x 7 emergency numbers given, if you are unable to locate your driver/vehicle for your transfer or for any other service and they will assist you.
Booking Info
Immediately after submitting your booking request you will receive a Receipt of booking via email.
Within one to two business days of submitting your booking you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you
need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation
from us.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:
Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for tour packages that include non-refundable services like Air and Ferry Tickets. GA Trips will advise of the case in our proposal prior to booking.
Full Payment: All bookings (except where specified): 60 days prior your arrival.
Instant Purchase Package: Time of booking.
Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your invoice, all travel
services will be subject to automatic cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A service reinstatement fee of 50€
will be added to your invoice and must be paid.
Last Minute: All bookings must be made no later than 21 days prior to departure. If requested services cannot be
confirmed, payment will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
Form of Payment: Wire transfer (US Bank & EU Bank), major credit cards or debit cards are accepted by GA Trips.
Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer require that we receive by email to
[email protected] the bank wire confirmation within 24 hours. No Travel Documents and/or vouchers
will be sent unless full payment is made.
Refunds: Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment, up to the total amount paid, with any remaining balance paid by bank wire.
What can be refunded: Some tours may require a minimum number of travelers to operate. The affected traveler will
be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Should this occur, it would be under very rare
circumstances. Please note that the product substitute chosen by the traveler may be more expensive than the
original product and therefore may be subject to an additional cost. Any additional refunds based on extenuating
circumstances will depend on the individual tour operator.
Single Day Tours/Activities: Cancel at least 5 Days in
advance of the start date of the experience for a full refund. Admission tickets/passes or skip-the-line tickets excluded.
Please check special notes as some tours are non-refundable.
What cannot be refunded: All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure will not be refunded. No refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveler after tour departure regardless of circumstances. Airfare & Ferry is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare or ferry is included in the final price. Hotel extensions and Instant Confirmation products (admission tickets, city passes, etc.) cannot be exchanged or refunded once confirmed.
Our Cancellation Policy:
The Cancellation Policies listed below apply to all bookings unless the tour booked has specific rates or fees listed under "Special Notes." Please carefully review the "Special Notes" of your tour prior to booking. Please know that GA Trips will always adhere to individual tour policies when applicable.
Cancellation fees apply to packages and/or services as indicated below.
Package cancellation fees include airfare & ferry. Once airfare and/or ferry tickets are purchased, either at time of
booking for Instant Purchase or at time of full payment, tickets will be issued and are always subject to 100% penalty.
After airfare and or ferry tickets purchase, only the remaining land package will be subject to the fees below.
90 or more days prior to departure refund equivalent to 90% of the value of your booking
89-60 Days Prior to departure refund equivalent to 50% of the value of your booking
59 Days or Less Prior to departure refund equivalent to 0% of the value of your booking
If you have opted or required to make your booking by paying a deposit, then the following cancellation terms will
apply:

• Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your Email Request and travel service
start date.
• If a tour is scheduled to depart within the next 7 days, we will not change a traveler's departure date and will not offer a refund.
• In the event that you do not use the services for any reason and do not cancel the booking by email notice, no refunds will be provided.
• All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and will be debited to the original form of payment and account
which is used at the time you made the booking.
• All cancellations must be made directly with GATrips, not with tour providers or our partners.
How to Cancel a Reservation:
Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing via email sent to [email protected].
Submit your cancellation with "Cancel Reservation" in the subject line as well as our Reference number provided in your booking confirmation email received.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
We will process your cancellation/refund request within one to seven business days. We will NOT
acknowledge any verbal / over-the-phone request or voice mail. Verbally speaking with our customer service
representatives without emailing a request will not guarantee that your cancellation has been processed or
acknowledged.
Booking Changes:
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a
50€ per person change fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and
sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services.
On/ after the Final Payment Date, the 50€ change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as
optional tours and transfers.
*Please note that name changes to airline and ferry reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking. Replacing a traveling passenger with another traveling passenger constitutes a cancellation, subject to cancellation penalties, and is not covered by this Reservation Changes policy.
Changes or additions after departure are subject to local rates at the time of amendment and must be paid directly by the passenger to the service provider.
There are no refunds for unused services.
Force Majeure Terms and Conditions:
Refunds and compensation payments are not liable in circumstances beyond GA Trips’s control or the
supplier’s control. This includes but is not limited to changes due to war, threat of war, epidemic or threat of a
epidemic, acts of terrorism, civil strife, strikes, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather or other acts of God.
In the event that any significant changes are made due to a problem with a supplier, for example a hotel bankruptcy, GA Trips will advise the participant as soon as is reasonably possible with the alternatives available.
Visas & Passports:
You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other
requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries
you will visit. GA Trips is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or
documentation, and GA Trips cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport
or into any country due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation. All passengers traveling
internationally are required to have a passport. Some countries require passports to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip; some require that you have a minimum of three blank pages left in your passports.
It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.
Safety:
You must be aware and acknowledge that during participation in vacations operated by GA Trips,
certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in
undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, bus, van, aircraft, or other means of transportation; forces of
nature; political unrest; epidemics or the threat thereof; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; stolen, lost, or misplaced
luggage or property; theft or break-ins into vehicles, lodging rooms or elsewhere; transportation or hotel strikes, and
accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities.
GA Trips will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. By agreeing to participate in a tour and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold GA Trips harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered.
Emergency Medical Travel Insurance is required – see below. You acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work and that these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for your participation.
YOU HEREBY AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN WELFARE AND ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF DELAY,
UNANTICIPATED EVENTS, INCONVENIENCE, ILLNESS, INJURY, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA OR DEATH.
Travel Insurance:
Due to the physical nature of vacation including outdoor activities, such as, but not limited to, hiking, kayak tours, canyoning, bike tours, trekking, river trekking, and more, GA Trips requires all participants to have overseas
emergency medical insurance coverage while on our trips. Travel Insurance is not included in the tour price. You may
already have this coverage with your current insurance company. If you do have emergency medical coverage, or have purchased Travel Insurance with another company for this trip, please forward proof of policy to us prior to final payment. If you do not have Travel Insurance, you can choose any company you wish.
We partner with 2 travel insurance providers and, and have their link on our website, which you can use to receive a quote for emergency medical only or a full policy including cancellation coverage. Please see our Travel Insurance web page (https://www.greeceadventuretrips.com/gat-travel_insurance.html) for details.
In the event you find it necessary to cancel prior to or during a trip due to injury, personal or family illness or emergencies, or other covered reasons; travel insurance generally reimburses non refundable costs including the tour and airfare.
Additional coverage may include trip interruption, missed connections, lost or delayed baggage, emergency medical transportation, necessary medical care if sick or injured, and emergency evacuation.
Whichever company you choose, be sure to confirm the specifics directly with the company.
GA Trips does not assume any responsibility for the information about the insurance companies or their policies. Please be advised that some types of coverage may require purchase within 24 hours of your initial trip deposit.
Although trip “cancellation” insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended.
Responsibility:
GA Trips, acts only as agents for other suppliers, including but not limited to hotels, trains, buses, ferries,
restaurants, contractors or any other suppliers providing accommodations, transportation, sightseeing arrangements
or any other services as independent contractors, and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint ventures of GA Trips or its affiliates. GA Trips does not provide for or act as an Agent for any airlines or airfare tickets.
GA Trips is not responsible if an airline cancels, reschedules or delays a flight for any reason.
Airlines may charge a change or modification fee if you change your reservation. Contact your airline directly for more information.
All confirmations, tickets, vouchers, transfers or coupons issued by GA Trips are made under the express condition that GA Trips shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, injury, accident, delay, irregularity, inconvenience or damage to participant or those traveling with them, from any including but not limited to defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, acts of God, weather, civil disturbances, terrorism, cancellations or changes in itineraries or schedules, etc.
Any travel documents for services issued by GA Trips are subject to the Terms and Conditions specified by the supplier and are not guaranteed by GA Trips.
After departure, if the services included in the vacation cannot be supplied or there are changes in an itinerary for
reasons beyond the control of GA Trips, GA Trips will do its best to arrange for the provision of comparable services.
Any resulting additional expense will be the responsibility of participants.
Participant agrees that neither GA Trips nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including but not
limited to personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier
providing services, any insurer or insurance administrator under the Travel Protection Plan, or any other person. In the event there is liability on the party of GA Trips, you specifically agree that GA Trips’s maximum liability under any circumstances is limited to two times the amount of the reservation.
Any litigation must be brought to the courts of GA Tripss office in Kalamos Island, Ionian Island region, Greece.
Privacy:
All information provided in a booking will be kept in a confidential manner. They will not be disclosed or sold to other
companies for any purpose beyond what is needed to secure your travel arrangements with our suppliers. Mailing
information and past travel information will be retained by us. You may receive mailings or emailings from us
periodically. You may explicitly ask to be removed from said mailings by email.
Photographs, Images, Video:
Any photographs, digital images or video (Imagery) that you send, or that are taken by our guides, are deemed to be
our property and available for use in promotions we make without compensation to you for their use. Imagery
appearing on the web site, in social media, or any other promotion are used solely as an indication of accommodations and attractions. Actual facilities may vary.
Fitness:
It is your responsibility to know your own physical and medical condition with respect to the advisability of
participating in your chosen trip. We suggest you prepare by doing some longer walks prior to arrival. As with any
exercise program, we recommend you consult with your physician prior to your arrival regarding the suitability of a
walking tour or any other activity that requires physical activity. By completing this booking, you affirm that you are in good health and capable of engaging in the activity you are booking.

We don't accept any responsibility for additional expenses due to the changes, cancellations or delays in air, road, rail, sea, ferry or indeed of any other causes, all such expenses will have to be borne by the clients.
Any special request for bed type, early check in, late checkout, smoking rooms, etc are not guaranteed and same are
subject to availability at the time of check in.
Please be present in hotel lobby for tour and transfer pick up. The pick-up will be done at the given time on TRAVEL DOCUMENT issued by GA Trips. Please follow the same.
No refunds for any un-utilized services.
Any changes/amendments would not be possible within 48 hours of the starting time of services. Prior to 48 hrs.
Changes are subject to the feasibility of local ground operations.
If there is entrance ticket involved any sightseeing tour, changes would not be possible once the services are booked.
You must call on the 24 x 7 emergency numbers given, if you are unable to locate your driver/vehicle for your transfer or for any other service and they will assist you.
Booking Info
Immediately after submitting your booking request you will receive a Receipt of booking via email.
Within one to two business days of submitting your booking you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you
need to book an airline ticket, we recommend that you do so after you receive a confirmation of your tour reservation
from us.
PAYMENT & CANCELLATION:
Deposit: A 30% non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking for tour packages that include non-refundable services like Air and Ferry Tickets. GA Trips will advise of the case in our proposal prior to booking.
Full Payment: All bookings (except where specified): 60 days prior your arrival.
Instant Purchase Package: Time of booking.
Late Payment: If there is any outstanding balance by the Final Payment Due date listed on your invoice, all travel
services will be subject to automatic cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A service reinstatement fee of 50€
will be added to your invoice and must be paid.
Last Minute: All bookings must be made no later than 21 days prior to departure. If requested services cannot be
confirmed, payment will be refunded. If services are confirmed, final payment is due within 24 hours and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply.
Form of Payment: Wire transfer (US Bank & EU Bank), major credit cards or debit cards are accepted by GA Trips.
Third-party credit cards are not acceptable. Payments made by wire transfer require that we receive by email to
[email protected] the bank wire confirmation within 24 hours. No Travel Documents and/or vouchers
will be sent unless full payment is made.
Refunds: Refunds are processed to the credit card(s) originally used for payment, up to the total amount paid, with any remaining balance paid by bank wire.
What can be refunded: Some tours may require a minimum number of travelers to operate. The affected traveler will
be fully refunded or may choose a similar tour product as a substitute. Should this occur, it would be under very rare
circumstances. Please note that the product substitute chosen by the traveler may be more expensive than the
original product and therefore may be subject to an additional cost. Any additional refunds based on extenuating
circumstances will depend on the individual tour operator.
Single Day Tours/Activities: Cancel at least 5 Days in
advance of the start date of the experience for a full refund. Admission tickets/passes or skip-the-line tickets excluded.
Please check special notes as some tours are non-refundable.
What cannot be refunded: All hotel and tour schedules are arranged ahead of time. Any person failing to appear on the day of departure will not be refunded. No refund will be given for any portions of the tour unused by the traveler after tour departure regardless of circumstances. Airfare & Ferry is completely non-refundable and non-changeable for tours when airfare or ferry is included in the final price. Hotel extensions and Instant Confirmation products (admission tickets, city passes, etc.) cannot be exchanged or refunded once confirmed.
Our Cancellation Policy:
The Cancellation Policies listed below apply to all bookings unless the tour booked has specific rates or fees listed under "Special Notes." Please carefully review the "Special Notes" of your tour prior to booking. Please know that GA Trips will always adhere to individual tour policies when applicable.
Cancellation fees apply to packages and/or services as indicated below.
Package cancellation fees include airfare & ferry. Once airfare and/or ferry tickets are purchased, either at time of
booking for Instant Purchase or at time of full payment, tickets will be issued and are always subject to 100% penalty.
After airfare and or ferry tickets purchase, only the remaining land package will be subject to the fees below.
90 or more days prior to departure refund equivalent to 90% of the value of your booking
89-60 Days Prior to departure refund equivalent to 50% of the value of your booking
59 Days or Less Prior to departure refund equivalent to 0% of the value of your booking
If you have opted or required to make your booking by paying a deposit, then the following cancellation terms will
apply:

• Please note that cancellation fees are calculated based on the date we receive your Email Request and travel service
start date.
• If a tour is scheduled to depart within the next 7 days, we will not change a traveler's departure date and will not offer a refund.
• In the event that you do not use the services for any reason and do not cancel the booking by email notice, no refunds will be provided.
• All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible and will be debited to the original form of payment and account
which is used at the time you made the booking.
• All cancellations must be made directly with GATrips, not with tour providers or our partners.
How to Cancel a Reservation:
Once a partial or full payment has been made, cancellations will only be accepted in writing via email sent to [email protected].
Submit your cancellation with "Cancel Reservation" in the subject line as well as our Reference number provided in your booking confirmation email received.
Cancellation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancellation is received and based on the following dates prior to departure.
We will process your cancellation/refund request within one to seven business days. We will NOT
acknowledge any verbal / over-the-phone request or voice mail. Verbally speaking with our customer service
representatives without emailing a request will not guarantee that your cancellation has been processed or
acknowledged.
Booking Changes:
Changes to an existing reservation up to the Final Payment Date, whatever the cause, will incur a
50€ per person change fee, potential loss of any supplier fees (such as non-refundable event tickets, park permits, and
sea cruise reservations) plus any costs for replacement services.
On/ after the Final Payment Date, the 50€ change fee is no longer valid, instead cancellations terms apply. This includes name changes* and removal of any services such as
optional tours and transfers.
*Please note that name changes to airline and ferry reservations are subject to full cancellation and rebooking. Replacing a traveling passenger with another traveling passenger constitutes a cancellation, subject to cancellation penalties, and is not covered by this Reservation Changes policy.
Changes or additions after departure are subject to local rates at the time of amendment and must be paid directly by the passenger to the service provider.
There are no refunds for unused services.
Force Majeure Terms and Conditions:
Refunds and compensation payments are not liable in circumstances beyond GA Trips’s control or the
supplier’s control. This includes but is not limited to changes due to war, threat of war, epidemic or threat of a
epidemic, acts of terrorism, civil strife, strikes, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather or other acts of God.
In the event that any significant changes are made due to a problem with a supplier, for example a hotel bankruptcy, GA Trips will advise the participant as soon as is reasonably possible with the alternatives available.
Visas & Passports:
You are responsible for obtaining and paying for all visas and entry documents, for meeting all health and other
requirements, and for any documents required by the laws, regulations, orders, and/or requirements of the countries
you will visit. GA Trips is not responsible for providing you with specific visa and passport information or
documentation, and GA Trips cannot accept liability for any passenger refused entry onto any transport
or into any country due to failure of the passenger to carry correct documentation. All passengers traveling
internationally are required to have a passport. Some countries require passports to be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the conclusion of your trip; some require that you have a minimum of three blank pages left in your passports.
It is your responsibility to verify all visa and passport requirements.
Safety:
You must be aware and acknowledge that during participation in vacations operated by GA Trips,
certain risks and dangers may arise beyond our control, including but not limited to: the hazards of traveling in
undeveloped areas; travel by boat, train, automobile, bus, van, aircraft, or other means of transportation; forces of
nature; political unrest; epidemics or the threat thereof; acts of lawlessness or terrorism; stolen, lost, or misplaced
luggage or property; theft or break-ins into vehicles, lodging rooms or elsewhere; transportation or hotel strikes, and
accident or illness in remote regions without means of rapid evacuation or medical facilities.
GA Trips will not have liability regarding provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care that may be rendered. By agreeing to participate in a tour and/or optional excursions you agree that you will hold GA Trips harmless regarding any provision of medical care or the adequacy of any care rendered.
Emergency Medical Travel Insurance is required – see below. You acknowledge that the enjoyment and excitement of adventure travel is derived in part from the inherent risks incurred by travel and activity beyond the accepted safety of life at home or work and that these inherent risks contribute to such enjoyment and excitement, being a reason for your participation.
YOU HEREBY AGREE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN WELFARE AND ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RISKS OF DELAY,
UNANTICIPATED EVENTS, INCONVENIENCE, ILLNESS, INJURY, EMOTIONAL TRAUMA OR DEATH.
Travel Insurance:
Due to the physical nature of vacation including outdoor activities, such as, but not limited to, hiking, kayak tours, canyoning, bike tours, trekking, river trekking, and more, GA Trips requires all participants to have overseas
emergency medical insurance coverage while on our trips. Travel Insurance is not included in the tour price. You may
already have this coverage with your current insurance company. If you do have emergency medical coverage, or have purchased Travel Insurance with another company for this trip, please forward proof of policy to us prior to final payment. If you do not have Travel Insurance, you can choose any company you wish.
We partner with 2 travel insurance providers and, and have their link on our website, which you can use to receive a quote for emergency medical only or a full policy including cancellation coverage. In the event you find it necessary to cancel prior to or during a trip due to injury, personal or family illness or emergencies, or other covered reasons; travel insurance generally reimburses non refundable costs including the tour and airfare.
Additional coverage may include trip interruption, missed connections, lost or delayed baggage, emergency medical transportation, necessary medical care if sick or injured, and emergency evacuation.
Whichever company you choose, be sure to confirm the specifics directly with the company.
GA Trips does not assume any responsibility for the information about the insurance companies or their policies. Please be advised that some types of coverage may require purchase within 24 hours of your initial trip deposit.
Although trip “cancellation” insurance is not required, it is strongly recommended.
Responsibility:
GA Trips, acts only as agents for other suppliers, including but not limited to hotels, trains, buses, ferries,
restaurants, contractors or any other suppliers providing accommodations, transportation, sightseeing arrangements
or any other services as independent contractors, and are not agents, employees, servants, or joint ventures of GA Trips or its affiliates. GA Trips does not provide for or act as an Agent for any airlines or airfare tickets.
GA Trips is not responsible if an airline cancels, reschedules or delays a flight for any reason.
Airlines may charge a change or modification fee if you change your reservation. Contact your airline directly for more information.
All confirmations, tickets, vouchers, transfers or coupons issued by GA Trips are made under the express condition that GA Trips shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, injury, accident, delay, irregularity, inconvenience or damage to participant or those traveling with them, from any including but not limited to defects in vehicles, breakdown in equipment, strikes, theft, acts of God, weather, civil disturbances, terrorism, cancellations or changes in itineraries or schedules, etc.
Any travel documents for services issued by GA Trips are subject to the Terms and Conditions specified by the supplier and are not guaranteed by GA Trips.
After departure, if the services included in the vacation cannot be supplied or there are changes in an itinerary for
reasons beyond the control of GA Trips, GA Trips will do its best to arrange for the provision of comparable services.
Any resulting additional expense will be the responsibility of participants.
Participant agrees that neither GA Trips nor its affiliates shall be liable for any damage, loss (including but not
limited to personal injury, death, and property loss), or expense occasioned by any act or omission of any supplier
providing services, any insurer or insurance administrator under the Travel Protection Plan, or any other person. In the event there is liability on the party of GA Trips, you specifically agree that GA Trips’s maximum liability under any circumstances is limited to two times the amount of the reservation.
Any litigation must be brought to the courts of GA Tripss office in Kalamos Island, Ionian Island region, Greece.
Privacy:
All information provided in a booking will be kept in a confidential manner. They will not be disclosed or sold to other
companies for any purpose beyond what is needed to secure your travel arrangements with our suppliers. Mailing
information and past travel information will be retained by us. You may receive mailings or emailings from us
periodically. You may explicitly ask to be removed from said mailings by email.
Photographs, Images, Video:
Any photographs, digital images or video (Imagery) that you send, or that are taken by our guides, are deemed to be
our property and available for use in promotions we make without compensation to you for their use. Imagery
appearing on the web site, in social media, or any other promotion are used solely as an indication of accommodations and attractions. Actual facilities may vary.
Fitness:
It is your responsibility to know your own physical and medical condition with respect to the advisability of
participating in your chosen trip. We suggest you prepare by doing some longer walks prior to arrival. As with any
exercise program, we recommend you consult with your physician prior to your arrival regarding the suitability of a
walking tour or any other activity that requires physical activity. By completing this booking, you affirm that you are in good health and capable of engaging in the activity you are booking.
